Why Investors Say "NO"
Garaža Investor Report was created out of our desire to systematize and structure valuable insights from investors who (don't) invest in Serbian startups. Through conversations with them, we tried to gain a deeper understanding of and present the advantages and challenges faced by Serbian startups in the investment-raising process.
Structure
The Garaža investor report consists of two parts:
Overview of the current state of investments in Serbian startups
Detailed analysis of the most common mistakes Serbian founders make when talking to investors
Sample
The survey included 24 VC funds and two Business Angel groups from ten countries, including Serbia, the Balkan region, and Europe. All of them had visited our ecosystem in the past two years and spoken with at least five startups.
Research
Interviews with investors typically consist of a series of open and closed questions, which relate to both the business operations of domestic startups and their fundraising processes.
Who is it for?
This report is intended for startups, aiming to help them identify mistakes and increase their chances of securing investors for their product.
