Who is the Garaža for?
Garaža is intended for those who meet the following criteria:
Startups with global ambitions, which have at least 50% of clients outside the Central and Eastern Europe region
Startups generating more than 50% of their revenue from clients outside the Central and Eastern Europe region.
Startups that achieve significant YoY growth
Founders and operators who are willing to help others in the community
How do you become part of Garaža?
Joining Garaža consists of several stages:
1) Recommendation from a community member or partner
2) Interview with someone from the Garaža organizational team
*If the startup meets the criteria, after the interview:
3) Receives an invitation to the first internal Garaža event
4) Joins the Slack community and mailing list
5) Gets access to all Garaža resources
What benefits does the Garaža offer?
Access to a closed community of founders, operators and mentors/experts
Access to invite-only Garaža events such as Startup Stories, Offsite etc.
Hands on community support and challenge roundtable sessions with other members
Access to Garaža Slack
Access to Garaža's network of lawyers, accountants and other consultants at significantly lower prices
Possibility to use Garaža Deals: exclusive discounts on startup tools and products of community members.
Does the Garaža function as a coworking space?
No. Garaža does not have its own space, but uses the premises of its members. Apart from periodic coworking sessions and space for the needs of its members, it is not open for community use.
Can I attend Garaža events even though I'm not in the community?
Garaža events can be closed or open. Closed events are invite-only for community members.
If you are part of the target group for open events, you can attend them even if you are not part of Garaža.

Does Garaža accept freelancers, consultants and individuals?
No. Garaža is intended exclusively for startup teams (active founders and operators), so all our activities are focused on them.
How do we define a startup?
A startup is a (small, early-stage) company developing an innovative technology product, with global ambition, designed to grow rapidly and exponentially.
Garaža requirements:
More than 50% of your customers are outside the CEE region
More than 50% of your revenue comes from outside the CEE region
