Garaža Community
Garaža (or trans: Garage) came as an idea in 2021, originating from the founders of Tenderly. At that time, we noticed that in Serbia, most startup founders were not connected and didn't even know each other. Most of the struggles we as founders encountered were faced in isolation, with very few places to ask for help or get first-hand advice.
So we set out to change that, and in 2022, we onboarded Milena as the person who would build out the first startup community in Serbia.
How we operate?
Garaža is a community of startup founders and high-performing operators that have a give-back mentality. We operate on pay-it-forward principles and require so of all people that are part of this community. We believe that scarcity of knowledge and information is not the winning strategy. We created a safe space where other founders can share valuable knowledge that is often not shared publicly, and that can help other startups on their journey as they grow.

Garaža is currently solely funded by Tenderly. Garaža, by its statute, is designed to be financed only by its members and by startups.
Does Garaža participate in Government programs for funding?
No. Garaža deliberately chooses not to participate in an Government programs or receive money from Government sponsored organizations.
Especially in the current political climate, Garaža deliberately chooses to be funded by private companies, mainly being startups, and to keep our goals and motives aligned.
